Sony DVD+R disks offer two-way compatibility for data and video applications: the disks are compatible with both DVD player and PC DVD drives. Users with a DVD-ROM drive and MPEG2 decoding capability within their PC can play back DVD+R disks recorded by a DVD+R/+RW recorder.
